Alcohol-Related Motor Vehicle Accidents are Often Fatal

On behalf of Parks Law Firm, P.C. posted on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

Another Texas collision resulted in a fatality on a recent Sunday evening. The incident is believed to have been caused by a motorist who was allegedly intoxicated at the time. Alcohol affects every person's body differently; however, when it comes to driving, all motorists are legally bound to the same traffic laws. Sadly, many of the worst motor vehicle accidents in this state and others include alcohol as a causal factor.

A 30-year-old man who was beloved in his community was behind the wheel of one of the vehicles involved in the recent collision. He worked as a correctional officer and was well-known for the many hours he volunteered in his community as a youth football coach. The husband and father of three survived the initial impact of the crash.
